Cody's father, Bill Smith, is an official Bronze Star Cherokee Warrior who served his country with honor and distinction. He is a hero and beloved grandfather in spirit to many and especially those within the tribe who don't have a living grandfather. Therefore, Cody has been inspired to often sculpt Native Warriors in honor of his dad.
